Bespoke Caravans was born from more than 60 years of combined caravan industry experience and one shared obsession: building a better caravan.
Independently, Bespoke Caravans’ three founders have worked with multiple Australian caravan brands, 1000’s of customers and countless caravan models from their initial designs to manufacturing to a caravan’s sale to its servicing, right through to modifications and all sorts of repairs.

A carpenter by trade, with construction, automotive and caravan industry experience, Robert has spent the last 18 years overseeing the sale, servicing, modifications and repairs of a wide range of vans from Australian brands, both old and new, as he ran and operated a 2 acre multi-franchise caravan dealership and workshop. Every product feature and sale; every repair and modification, has become invaluable insights into his designs.
Robert knows how things are built, how they perform and, perhaps most importantly, how they fail. Meticulous by nature and constantly looking to improve builds, developed an instinct for identifying the components that stand the test of time, the areas prone to problems and the features that genuinely add value.

Michael has dedicated more than 20 years to the Australian caravan industry, building one of Australia’s largest indoor caravan dealerships, representing multiple leading brands under one roof. Michael has worked with thousands of customers. He understands what people genuinely want from their caravans and knows what separates a good caravan from a truly exceptional one.
Involved in everything from manufacturing and product development to sales, dealership operations, caravan design, layouts, interior styling, feature selection, and customer experience, he’s spent countless hours working alongside manufacturers, suppliers, designers, and, most importantly, caravan owners.
Every lesson, every conversation, and every kilometre travelled has shaped Michael’s vision of what the perfect off-road caravan should be.

Peter has spent more than 20 years shaping the Australian caravan industry through innovation, advanced design, and customer-focused craftsmanship. He’s known for pioneering technologies, including the world’s first fuel-cell-powered caravan system, integrating German fuel-cell technology with solar for highly efficient off-grid capability. As well as introducing Australia’s first fully in-built generator system in a production caravan, his work has been recognised with Manufacturer of the Year in 2013 and induction into the Hall of Fame in 2015.
For Peter, innovation is never about technology for technology’s sake. It is about solving real problems and giving people greater freedom, confidence and capability when they travel. He believes the best technology should enhance the experience rather than complicate it.
Combined, their experience allows Bespoke Caravans to look beyond individual features and consider the entire experience—from the first design decision and the materials selected, to the engineering, construction, functionality, comfort and years of adventures that follow.
They’ve each used their experiences to make innovations right across the caravan industry and have been recognised for their own accolades.
Today, the founders bring their perspectives, expertise, learnings and passions together to redefine the standard for Australian caravans with Bespoke.
